» December 3: Holiday Harmony & Tree Lighting
Holiday Harmony will take place from 6- 8 p.m. at the Beach Bum Holiday Rental parking lot (off of Dolliver & Pomeroy) in downtown Pismo Beach. Kids will have fun with fresh snow, a bounce house, crafts and cookie decorating. There will also be live music for all to enjoy. Santa will be in Santa's Village, and t he Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. at the Pismo Beach Pier. Join Santa and carolers at the Beach Bum Holiday Rental parking lot at 5:30 p.m. before he makes his way to the tree lighting ceremony on a fire truck. Participants can enjoy hot drinks and listen to carols as the tree is lit. A Polaroid picture of Santa will be available at no charge immediately following the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony in Santa's Village, as the fun continues. This event is Free. » December 5, 12, 19 & 26: Shell Beach Farmers' Market
Featuring local fresh produce, flowers, jams, dried fruits and artisan vinegars, the market brings the best of the farm to the customers. Visitors can also expect exotic foods, jewelry, massage therapy, tea, energy work, and live music and entertainment. Family fun in the form of hula hoop classes, yoga classes, kite flying, food demos, gymnastics and much more will be featured at the Shell Beach Farmers' Market, located at the Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach (corner of Shell Beach Road and Cliff Ave. in Shell Beach). 9 a.m.-1 p.m. For more information, please contact David Diaz at shellbeachfarmersmarket@yahoo.com

» Monarch Butterfly Tours
Monarch Butterfly Tours at the Monarch Butterfly Grove. These beautiful orange and black "fairy-like" creatures begin to appear in late October in California's largest Monarch grove. Thousands cluster in our Eucalyptus trees, giving the appearance of golden leaves. The Monarch butterfly grove is located on Highway 1 just south of the North Pismo State Beach Campground.
