Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves
Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves in Shell Beach is a once-a-month event taking place on the first Sunday of every month from 10am-4pm, May through November. Over 100 local artists and craftsmen sell and display their work, including paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass, textiles, jewelry, wood and metal furniture, and more. The event also features live music, hands-on children's activities, fresh flowers and plants, a BBQ, and on-site massage. The City of Pismo Beach Recreation Division proudly presents the 4th Annual Pacific Breeze Concerts at Dinosaur Caves Park. This three show spring series will feature exceptional regional musical groups as well as special family and children's activities and, as always, it's FREE! This third and final show is all about Mom and will feature the Damon Castillo Band on Sunday from 1pm-4pm. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs for seating in the Rotary Amphitheatre or blankets for use on the parks' expansive lawn overlooking the stage and Pacific Ocean! Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival
This annual festival takes place in the Arroyo Grande Village on the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, May 26th - 27th. The Strawberry Festival is San Luis Obispo County's largest free festival, bringing together thousands of visitors and residents to enjoy activities and entertainment; kiddie carnivals; the Strawberry Stampede; hundreds of art, craft and display booths; ethnic foods; and scrumptious strawberry treats of all kinds, as well as fresh strawberries by the box!
