Pismo Beach Pier Buoy Report

You might not know this but Pismo Beach has it's very own buoy anchored off of the pier. The instrument is a Nortek AWAC. It is located approximately 80 meters (240 feet) off of the pier in about 4 meters (12 feet) of water. It was installed by the Cal Poly Center for Coastal Marine Sciencesas part of the Ocean Water Quality Control Study. Thanks to their cooperation we were able to make public the buoy data.
